Lisa is a great writer and she’s confident in what she’s doing. That said, she always produce a great end result. I always love reading her articles. This particular article is one of her best explaining all the aspects needed to produce great pictures to attract clients who may not want to buy the property but seeing the great pictures alone can change the situation to a different ball game. This is such an important subject that I believe most realtor under estimate. Presentation Presentation! It will and does define a person. Especially when someone is getting started there is certain level of professionalism that is going to make that deal or not. I believe that when an opportunity is available to make and impression to convince someone to sign with you verses with someone else it is the little things that will make the difference. Oh by the way, photography is not consider part of the little things. it is a must, so much so that BRE association requires that you post your listing with “pictures” and info with in a time period of getting the listing. Hence pictures!
I can’t tell you enough how many time i do work with realtors regarding their design for flyer for listing and the poor quality of pictures that I’m expected to work with. It’s baffling!
I’d like to see more education scenarios in real-estate conferences, seminars and tutorials for how to layout a photo-shoot for a property and the best to acceptable devices that a realtor can use to achieve quality pictures. I m sure that there is an acceptable camera phones if that is all you have to work with. The question is which ones are they?
